Gentleness

Welcome back to our Fruit of Spirit Series. Today are going to start discussing “Gentleness”.

Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Webster’s New World Dictionary defines

Gentleness – generous, kind, tame, not harsh or rough.

The Evidence of Gentleness

Philippians 4:5 (NIV)
5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

1 Thessalonians 2:6-7 (NIV)
As apostles of Christ we could have been a burden to you, 7 but we were gentle among you, like a mother caring for her little children.
