Hello, I am Pastor G. I have served in Full Time Ministry for over 11 years.
It is my prayer that you will catch a glimpse of my heart and calling towards serving the Lord. I understand the importance of shepherding and leading the body of Christ and consider it an honor and privilege to do so. My ministry is firmly planted in the belief of 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” I would like to briefly share with you some of my ministry goals.
• Tell Others about Jesus
o Luke 19:10: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
o Mark 16:15: “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
• Feed The Flock
o John 21:15-17: “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”
o 1 Peter 5:2: “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them–not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve”
• To Live for God
o Matthew 22:36-40: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
o Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
o Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
• Equip God’s People to be Fishers of Men and Women
o Matthew 4:19: “Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”
o John 10:16: “But I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock, one shepherd.”
