Welcome back readers!! Welcome back to the Encouragement Challenge! Today we are going to talk about being a Joyful Christian! But, first, if you are not a Christian, please see our tab—How To Become a Christian. In our society today, it is hard to find a lot of joy. Just watch the news. I end up feeling more disappointed and sad than I do joyful. I read this quote a while back from a lady named Barbara Johnson, “You have to look for the joy. Look for the light of God that is hitting your life, and you will find sparkles you didn’t know were there.”
The Bible reminds us in:
Psalm 51:8 “Make me hear joy and gladness.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “ Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
John 15:11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
What can we do to be a Joyful Christian? We can look for joy. Focus on the positives not the negatives. Remember everything that Christ did for us. Smile. Forgive. Put Christ first in our lives. Be kind to others. Love God. Love Others. Every day is a gift from God, so make it joyful!!
Be a blessings to others,
